A pharmaceutical company requested support in managing the life cycles of their products. Using our practical three step-guide (technology with a patient benefit, exclusivity and timing), we evaluated each product and involved all team experts (scientists, pre-clinical, formulation, clinical, regulatory, marketing,).
We identified multiple life cycle options, secured patent protection and compiled a list of commercial opportunities. Management selected the commercially most interesting projects for investment. The first product resulting from this strategy was launched within 3 years and several followed subsequently.
